We are holding one day retreats on the last Sunday of every month in Bristol. The fee is £20 (£10 students/unwaged), which includes a simple vegetarian lunch.

For the date of the next one-day retreat in Bristol, please email Mike or Keith or phone 0117-924-3828

We start at 9:30am and finish at 4.45pm. Both the morning and afternoon sessions include three 25-minute periods of sitting in Zazen, with walking meditation (kinhin), and a talk and discussion.

Anyone is welcome to attend and participate in what is a full but not exhausting schedule of Zazen practice and talks on Buddhism by Eido Michael Luetchford.

The maximum number of participants is 15 people. Comfortable and loose clothing is recommended for sitting Zazen

If you have not practiced Zazen before, we recommend that you attend one of the sittings on Thursdays at 6:15pm before coming to the retreat. You will also find a detailed explanation of how to practice Zazen and kinhin in our online electronic booklet (Adobe Acrobat pdf format) Introduction to Buddhism and the Practice of Zazen that you can download by clicking on this link.

There are also one day retreats in London normally held on the second Sunday of each month
